Imphal, Sept. 4 -- Unidentified miscreants hurled a bomb at the residence of Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader K. Meghachandra in Bishnunaha, Yairipok, in Manipur's Thoubal district on Thursday night, marking the second attack on an elected legislator in less than a week.

The blast occurred near the residential gate at around 8:15 pm on September 3, according to a statement issued by the CLP leader's Public Relations Officer (PRO). No injuries were reported. The attackers and their motive remain unidentified.
