Imphal, Oct. 27 -- Manipur's Bishnipur district administration and security forces have reviewed security arrangements to ensure farmers can safely access their fields during the ongoing harvesting season, amid continuing ethnic clashes and security concerns in vulnerable areas.

The review was held on Tuesday at the Mini Secretariat Complex, where officials also reviewed security preparedness ahead of the Manipur Legislative Assembly election which is due next year.
