New Delhi, March 27 -- The United States and Israel have intensified strikes on Iran, with attacks increasing in scale and frequency, as per reportage, amid uncertainty over possible negotiations.
Iran has rejected talks, saying it will continue to "resist" US aggression. US President Donald Trump said Iranian leaders want to
"make a deal"
but also criticised NATO, stating the United States "needs nothing" from the alliance and accusing members of doing "absolutely nothing" on Iran.
In the latest developments, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said an airstrike killed Iran's Revolutionary Guards naval commander Alireza Tangsiri, whom he described as responsible for attempts to block the Strait of Hormuz.
