President of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing to arrive in India on five-day visit
New Delhi, May 30 -- President of Myanmar, U Min Aung Hlaing, will arrive at Gaya in Bihar this morning on a five-day visit to India. A high-level delegation, including several Cabinet Ministers, senior officials, and business leaders, will accompany him. This will be the first visit of President U Min Aung Hlaing to India in his current capacity.
At Gaya, the President of Myanmar will offer prayers at the Maha Bodhi temple and at Sujata Temple.
President U Min Aung Hlaing will arrive in New Delhi later in the day. He will meet External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar this evening. The Myanmar President is expected to participate in the Myanmar-India business forum tomorrow.
