New Delhi, June 3 -- President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief over the loss of lives in an accident in Surat yesterday. Eight people were killed and more than 15 people were injured when two Maharashtra State Road Transport buses collided near Bardoli town in Surat. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.

President Murmu has extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished for the swift recovery of the injured. Vice President Radhakrishnan prayed for the strength and courage to the bereaved families. He wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
