New Delhi, April 6 -- Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi will address three election rallies in Assam today as part of the party's campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections. He arrived in Guwahati yesterday evening.

Mr. Modi will begin his campaign at Bhawanipur-Sorbhog in Bajali district. He is scheduled to subsequently address rallies at Hojai and later in Dibrugarh, covering key regions of the state in a single day. The Prime Minister's visit is seen as a significant push to bolster the BJP's campaign in the final phase ahead of the April 9 polling in the state.
