PAC reaffirms ministerial-level interlocutor on Naga political peace process
New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Political Affairs Committee today reaffirmed its demand for the appointment of a ministerial-level interlocutor to advance the Naga political peace process and resolved to engage stakeholders in preparing a roadmap towards an early and inclusive solution.
The development comes in the backdrop of the PAC meeting chaired by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in Kohima.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, PAC Member Secretary and Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs K.G. Kenye said the committee reviewed the resolutions adopted during its meetings held on September 12, 2024, and in September 2025 at Rhododendron Hall, Chumoukedima.
