New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has intensified its enforcement drive against dangerous buildings, unauthorised constructions and violations of the Master Plan of Delhi and Building Bye-Laws across all 12 zones of the city.

As part of the intensive enforcement exercise carried out yesterday, 34 demolition actions were undertaken across all 12 zones of MCD. In addition, 17 properties were sealed, 22 show-cause notices were issued and 4 demolition orders were passed. On Tuesday also, MCD carried out enforcement action, during which 17 properties were demolished and 5 other properties were sealed for violations of the Master Plan of Delhi and Building Bye-Laws.
