New Delhi, May 1 -- Kailash Manasarovar Yatra will take place from June to August this year. Ten batches, each consisting of 50 Yatris, are scheduled to travel through Uttarakhand, crossing over at Lipulekh Pass. Another 10 batches, each consisting of 50 Yatris, will travel through Sikkim, crossing over at Nathu La Pass.

The External Affairs Ministry said in a statement that the website kmy.gov.in has been opened for the acceptance of applications. The Yatris will be selected from among applicants through a fair, computer-generated, random and gender-balanced selection process.
