New Delhi, March 21 -- As the US and Israel's war with Iran entered its 22nd day, Israel's military said it carried out two major waves of air strikes on Tehran and parts of central Iran, targeting weapons production facilities and sites storing ballistic missile launchers and related components.
Several locations were struck in recent hours, particularly in Tehran, by Israeli-American warplanes. Reports also indicated air strikes or explosions in Shahr-e Ray, located south of Tehran.
The Israeli military said the country faced multiple waves of missile attacks from Iran, triggering air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where explosions caused by interceptions were heard.
