India Rejects Pakistan President's Remarks on Internal Affairs
New Delhi, June 21 -- The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) responded to media queries regarding comments made by the President of Pakistan. Official Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India categorically rejects the unwarranted comments made by the President of Pakistan and that he has no locus standi to comment on matters that are internal to India.
He said the comments are particularly absurd given Pakistan's own abysmal record on human rights, which is a matter of global commentary, and noted Pakistan's long history of systematically targeting and victimizing minorities across various faiths.
