India's victory secured their place in the Women's Asia Cup 2026 final, with the second semi-final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan determining their opponents.

Chasing a target of 150 runs, Bangladesh struggled to build momentum as India's bowlers kept the pressure on and made 109 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated twenty overs. Shorna Akter, unbeaten 22, was the top scorer for Bangladesh. For India, Deepti Sharma scalped three wickets, Nandani Sharma took two wickets, while Shree Charani and Prema Rawat claimed a wicket each.
