Govt revises excise duty on petroleum products
New Delhi, May 16 -- The Ministry of Finance, in official gazette notifications, has revised the Special Additional Excise Duty on petroleum products.
The Special Additional Excise Duty on diesel exports has been reduced to 16.50 rupees per litre from 23 rupees per litre. The duty on Aviation Turbine Fuel has also been reduced to 16 rupees per litre from 33 rupees per litre.
The government has also imposed a Special Additional Excise Duty of 3 rupees per litre on the export of petrol.
