New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the European Union will use every possible means to reduce its "unsustainable" trade deficit with China.

Von der Leyen said the imbalance had reached a tipping point, with the EU's goods trade deficit with China exceeding one billion dollars a day last year.

She said Europe was already suffering from a "Second China Shock" through de-industrialisation.
