New Delhi, March 6 -- Indira Gandhi International Airport has emerged as the fifth busiest aviation hub in the Asia Pacific region in 2025, according to data released by aviation analytics firm OAG.

The airport, operated by a GMR Airports Limited-led consortium through Delhi International Airport Limited, recorded 46.18 million one-way departure seats and moved from ninth position in 2019 to fifth in 2025.

With this growth, Delhi Airport has surpassed major international hubs including Singapore Changi Airport, Incheon International Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport.
