New Delhi, May 9 -- The oath-taking ceremony of the new BJP-led government in the northeastern state of Assam will be held on the 12th of this month at 11 am in Guwahati, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending as the Chief Guest.

The swearing-in ceremony for the next Chief Minister of Assam will mark the formation of a new government following the NDA's strong electoral performance in the state.
