21st Batch of Shri Amarnath Yatra Leaves for Baltal as Pilgrim Count Crosses 4.26 Lakh
New Delhi, July 28 -- Following the partial restoration of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Monday night, authorities on Tuesday allowed the movement of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra convoy from Jammu towards the Baltal base camp.
The 21st batch of Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrims departed from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu under tight security and comprehensive logistical arrangements, proceeding towards the Holy Cave Shrine via the Baltal route.
Officials said that 11,996 pilgrims performed darshan at the Holy Cave Shrine through the Baltal route on Monday.
With this, the cumulative number of pilgrims who have undertaken the annual pilgrimage has reached 4,26,339 during the first 25 days of the 57-day Shri Amarnath Yatra, which ...
