New Delhi, March 15 -- Gold prices in India remained steady on Sunday, March 15, with retail rates for 24-karat, 22-karat, and 18-karat gold seeing minimal change. Although the yellow metal registered a slight decline over the past week, 24-karat gold continued to trade near the Rs.1.6 lakh level, indicating that prices remain elevated despite short-term fluctuations.
The price of 24-karat gold in India stood at Rs.159,070 per 10 gram at 1:05 pm on Sunday. Meanwhile 22-karat gold was priced at Rs.145,814 per 10 gram. At the same time, 18-karat gold, which has lower purity level, is being sold at Rs.119,303 per 10 gram in the retail market.
