New Delhi, June 3 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will on Wednesday inaugurate the state government's Annapurna Yojana, under which women beneficiaries will receive financial assistance every month.

"The chief minister will inaugurate Annapurna Yojana around 12.30 pm," the an official said.

Beneficiaries will join the programme virtually from venues set up at block, municipal and Kolkata Municipal Corporation levels. Official said that 100 beneficiaries from each block, municipality and the KMC area will receive their sanction letters on the day.

They would be identified by sub-divisional officers (SDOs) and block development officers (BDOs), with final approval from the district magistrates or the Kolkata Municipal Corp...
