Chandigarh, Aug. 30 -- Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that serving others is the highest duty and everyone should, according to their means, extend support to the needy and deserving, both within their families and in society.
The Union minister was addressing a programme organised by Sarv Jan Sukhay Trust, Kaithal, at RKSD College on Sunday to mark the laying of the foundation stone of 'Anandam Vridh Seva Aangan', an old-age home to be constructed at village Dayora for the welfare and care of senior citizens.
Khattar unveiled the foundation plaque in the presence of Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker, Krishan Lal Middha, Social Justice and Empowerment minister, Krishan Kumar Bedi, MP, Naveen Jindal and other dignitaries.
