
Mumbai, Oct. 8 -- SBI Funds Management Limited (SBIFM) and Amundi on Thursday inaugurated the India Investment Seminar 2026 in Mumbai, bringing together over 100 international institutional investors and Amundi clients to explore India's growth story and investment opportunities.
The two-day seminar, themed "Experience the Indian Growth Story", enables global investors to engage with policymakers, industry leaders and investment professionals.
Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran discussed India's ambition of becoming a developed economy by 2047, while SBI Chairman C S Setty highlighted the financial system's role in economic growth and inclusion. Setty said SBIFM has 13.2 Trillion AUM, while its subsidiaries are driving financial inclusion across banking & financial services.
Amitabh Kant discussed India's manufacturing opportunity amid shifting global supply chains, while Maruti Suzuki's Rahul Bharti shared insights from its four-decade journey.
The seminar also examined FDI, infrastructure financing, GIFT IFSC and international capital flows.
Speakers included Nivruti Rai, MD & CEO, Invest India and representatives from NIIF, Cube Highways and CPPIB. Discussions on October 9 will cover monetary policy, consumption, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, clean energy and investment management.
