Chandigarh, Oct. 28 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday invited industrialists and entrepreneurs from Gujarat to invest in Haryana, saying the combination of Gujarat's entrepreneurial strength and Haryana's industrial network could create fresh opportunities for economic growth and business expansion.

Addressing business leaders at an investor roadshow on the second day of his Gujarat visit, Saini described Haryana as a reliable partner for businesses seeking their next phase of growth. He urged entrepreneurs to explore opportunities in manufacturing, technology, logistics, warehousing and other sectors, including setting up industrial units, offices and technology centres.

Saini highlighted Gujarat's achievements in diamond and textile industries in Surat, industrial development in Ahmedabad, and its strong presence in chemicals, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. He said Haryana, too, had developed a robust industrial base offering significant opportunities for collaboration.

Emphasising connectivity, Saini said nearly 57 per cent of Haryana's geographical area fell within the National Capital Region. The Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and major industrial corridors connected the state to key commercial and consumer markets. Access to airports in Delhi, Chandigarh and Noida further facilitated the movement of investors, employees and business partners.

He said Haryana had 56 industrial estates and was developing micro, small and medium enterprises clusters in 143 blocks. Large investments, he added, would generate direct employment and create opportunities for local suppliers and businesses in transportation, packaging, maintenance and technical services.

Saini said the government was committed to ensuring that industrial investment benefited the state's youth, workers and small entrepreneurs by integrating local industries into larger supply chains.

He also highlighted Haryana's growing information technology and corporate sectors, saying Gurugram housed offices of more than 250 Fortune 500 companies, around 270 Global Capability Centres and 19 unicorn companies.

Automobile and machinery manufacturers could benefit from the state's established industrial ecosystem, while textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals and solar energy offered further investment opportunities. Logistics, warehousing and industrial infrastructure also had considerable potential, he said.
