Chandigarh, Oct. 9 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to ensure that eligible families under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (Dayalu-I and Dayalu-II) do not face any difficulties in receiving financial assistance.

No applicant should have to approach middlemen to avail the benefits of the scheme, and eligible beneficiaries must receive financial assistance without unnecessary delay.

The Chief Minister was chairing a review meeting of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana in Chandigarh on Friday. The CM directed officials to ensure end-to-end tracking of the entire process, from the submission of applications and verification of documents to the transfer of financial assistance. Once the prescribed procedure is completed, arrangements should be made to transfer the assistance directly to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries in real time so that they do not have to wait unnecessarily for payment.

He further directed that applications under the Dayalu-I scheme should be verified on the lines of the Dayalu-II scheme to ensure a smooth verification process and timely benefits for eligible beneficiaries.

The CM directed that if an objection is raised against an application or it is rejected after the death certificate and other required documents have been uploaded, the applicant must be clearly informed of the reason.

Meanwhile, chairing a review meeting of the Samadhan Cell, Saini said that Samadhan Shivirs are a flagship scheme of the government. Therefore, all officers must ensure that the problems brought before the Shivirs organised in every district are resolved on a priority basis.
