Jalpaiguri, May 17 -- A day after TMC Rajganj candidate Swapna Barman filed a complaint against the alleged arson at her home and rape threats, several political leaders visited her residence on Sunday and expressed support and solidarity.
Acting on instructions from the party leadership, Trinamool Congress district president Mahua Gope and Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik visited Swapna's residence. Kamtapuri leader Ashtami Roy also met her separately.
