Chandigarh, Sept. 24 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday launched the 'Satarak-Haryana' mobile app to enable citizens to directly report corruption-related complaints and information to the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB).
Launched at the Haryana Secretariat, the app allows users to connect with the Bureau's helpline, upload digital evidence such as videos, audio and photographs, and share information confidentially even when they do not seek immediate action against a particular person.
The app covers all 23 districts and provides users with the name and mobile number of the concerned SV&ACB officer, office location and directions through Google location services. Citizens can also access senior officers, including the concerned Superintendent of Police, in case of complaints against Bureau personnel.
Saini said citizens can also download copies of FIRs made available through the app in accordance with applicable rules.
The Chief Minister said information shared through the platform would help create a systematic digital database on corruption that could be analysed and utilised as required under rules.
SV&ACB Chief Arshinder Singh Chawla urged citizens to upload only genuine and fact-based information. He cautioned against submitting false, misleading or artificially created material, including AI-generated content, saying action could be taken under applicable rules.
