
Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- J&K Bank on Tuesday held its 88th AGM at SKICC, chaired by Part-time Non-Executive Chairman S. Krishnan in the presence of MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee and directors.
Krishnan said, "Trust is our inheritance. Tradition is our anchor. Transformation is our obligation," stressing the bank's role in regional economic transformation. Chatterjee said the bank posted an all-time high net profit of Rs 2,363 crore in FY26, up 13.5 per cent, and crossed Rs 3 trillion in total business by June 2026. He said digital transactions grew up to 94 per cent during FY26 and the bank would invest in technology, cybersecurity and customer experience.
The AGM concluded with shareholders' queries, with Chatterjee announcing recruitment for associate and officer posts in J&K & Ladakh.
