
New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- HSBC Mutual Fund's RedHex Hybrid Long-Short Fund, a Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) strategy, has crossed Rs 1,000 crore in AUM (Assets Under Management) within just 2 months of its listing.
Launched in June 2026, the fund has attracted around 1,950 unique folios, reflecting growing investor interest in differentiated investment solutions.
RedHex invests across fixed income, equity arbitrage, REITs and INVITs to pursue risk-adjusted returns across market cycles.
Kailash Kulkarni, CEO, HSBC Mutual Fund, said the Rs 1,000 crore AUM milestone reflects evolving investor preferences for greater flexibility and diversification while retaining the transparency and discipline of mutual funds.
Shriram Ramanathan, CIO - Fixed Income, HSBC Mutual Fund, said the fund follows a disciplined approach to asset allocation, credit selection, accrual potential and risk management, while seeking to keep volatility relatively low.
The strategy aims to generate regular income in a tax efficient manner through diversified asset allocation, active portfolio management and risk controls.
It is benchmarked against the NIFTY 50 Hybrid Composite Debt 50:50 Index.
