
Chandigarh, Sept. 17 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday launched the second phase of the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, raising the annual family income eligibility limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh. Eligible women will receive Rs 2,100 per month under the scheme.
Saini said the revised limit would bring around 17 lakh additional women under the scheme's ambit. At a programme in Mahendragarh on Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti, he also released Rs 33.96 crore in sports grants for 3,396 government schools.
Besides, under the month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life, he launched the 'SEVA First Innovation Challenge' portal for youth and innovators.
