New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- FICCI-CASCADE will organise the 12th edition of MASCRADE 2026 (Movement Against Smuggled & Counterfeit Trade) from September 17-18 in New Delhi under the theme 'One World, One Fight: Eliminating Counterfeiting and Smuggling Through Collective Action'.

Former President of India Ram Nath Kovind will deliver the inaugural address. Speakers include Vivek Chaturvedi, Chairman, CBIC; Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Judge, Supreme Court of India; Suryaprakash V Raju, Additional Solicitor General, Supreme Court of India; Dr Rajiv Mani, Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs; Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Culture & M K Singh, Member (IT & Taxpayer Services), CBIC.

Anil Rajput, Chairman, FICCI CASCADE, said, "Illicit trade is no longer a peripheral concern confined to enforcement or revenue leakage. It has evolved into a significant economic, societal and national security challenge," calling for coordinated action by government, enforcement agencies, industry & international partners.

Anant Swarup, Secretary General, FICCI, said, "Addressing illicit trade requires a collaborative and forward-looking approach," with industry playing an active role.

Jyoti Vij, Director General, FICCI, said, "Strong and trusted markets are fundamental to sustainable economic growth," stressing responsible commerce, consumer awareness and compliance.

The conference will bring together Indian and international enforcement agencies & industry experts.

It will also release the FICCI-CASCADE-KPMG study 'Illicit Trade in India: Economic Impact, Enforcement Challenges and the Path Forward' and host the Anti-Counterfeiting and Anti-Smuggling Awards.
