New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- The Executive Committee of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the apex body representing the country's leading automobile manufacturers, on Thursday elected Ashok Leyland Ltd Managing Director & CEO Shenu Agarwal as its President for 2026-27.
Agarwal, who previously served as the Vice President of SIAM, succeeds Shailesh Chandra, Immediate Past President, SIAM, and Managing
Director & CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited.
The new office bearers were elected during the SIAM's Executive Committee Meeting held on Thursday.
The members of SIAM also elected K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company, as the Vice President of SIAM for 2026-27.
Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India Pvt Ltd, has been elected as the Treasurer of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers for 2026-27, the automobile industry
body said.
