PUTRAJAYA, June 9 -- Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi described the recent discussions between the leadership of Umno and PAS as a positive step towards addressing various issues, including matters not strictly related to politics.

He said such engagements should be seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue and explore new approaches amid evolving political dynamics.

"We welcome the meeting held between the leadership of Umno and PAS to discuss and resolve several issues and agendas that are not necessarily political in nature.
