KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 -- Two people were killed while another was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash at Batu Tujuh along Jalan Tawar-Kulim near Baling, Kedah, on Tuesday morning.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, one of the victims, 23-year-old Alina Mohd Shapri, was travelling in a Perodua Myvi from Baling to Kulim for work when the incident occurred, according to a report published in Sinar Harian today.

Baling Fire and Rescue Station chief Assistant Superintendent Zulkhairi Mat Tanjil said another fatality, a man travelling in a Proton Saga, is still being identified.
