KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 -- A woman was found dead after she is believed to have fallen from the 17th floor of a condominium along Jalan 18 in Kota Kinabalu yesterday evening.

In the 6.30pm incident, the victim, believed to be in her 50s, was found lying at the base of the building by condominium staff, according to a report published in Harian Metro.

It is understood that the impact of the fall was severe, with part of the victim's body found separated and landed on another side of the building, believed to have struck glass panels during the fall.

A parked motorcycle nearby was also damaged after being struck by the victim.
