KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 25 -- Supporting vulnerable groups will be among the Selangor government's main priorities in Budget 2027, with the aim of ensuring the state's economic progress benefits people across all segments of society.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said Selangor's development should go beyond strong economic performance and attracting investment to also addressing the needs of groups requiring greater attention, according to a Berita Harian report published today.

"We want to ensure that this state is not only developed with a good economy, that we are not only able to attract high investment, and that we can remain the 'heartbeat of Malaysian economy' or serve as an example in developing the artificial intelligence...
