LOS ANGELES, June 22 -- Nigel Ng has officially been promoted from Uncle Roger to... dad.

The Malaysian-born comedian and YouTube star surprised fans yesterday by announcing that he and his wife, Sabrina Ahmed, have welcomed their first child after the newborn spent a week in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

"And then there were three," the 35-year-old wrote alongside a series of family photos on Instagram.

"After a week in the NICU, bringing you home today is the most special Father's Day."

Ng also thanked the medical team at the hospital in the United States for caring for their baby before slipping back into the deadpan humour that made his Uncle Roger character a global sensation.
