KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 24 -- Two boys aged 13 and 14 have been charged with injuring a 13-year-old fellow student by allegedly pressing an iron against his chest at a tahfiz school in Perak Tengah.

According to Utusan Malaysia, both students pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to them before Magistrate Nurul Izalina Rajaai at the Magistrate's Court in Parit today.

The pair were jointly accused of intentionally causing injury to the boy using an iron at a tahfiz school in Chopin Kanan, Parit, in the Perak Tengah district at about 4pm on September 19.

The victim was later treated at a private clinic for second-degree burns to his chest, according to the report.
