Three more nabbed over illegal race on Malaysia-Singapore Second Link
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 25 -- Police have arrested three more men in Kuala Lumpur over a brazen illegal street race that brought traffic to a halt along the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link.
Kulai police chief Tan Seng Lee said the latest arrests bring the total number of individuals detained in connection with the incident to 11, Kosmo reported.
The three suspects will be produced in court for a remand application.
"Further investigation into this case is ongoing under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987," he said.
Police had earlier rounded up eight men on Sunday, including a motorsport influencer, obtaining a four-day remand order to facilitate investigations.
