KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 -- Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh has given her assurance that residents of Setiawangsa will continue to receive full attention and support, following the announcement by YB Nik Nazmi to vacate his parliamentary seat.

Yeoh, who is also the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), thanked Nik Nazmi for his service to Kuala Lumpur residents during his tenure and moved quickly to allay any concerns over a potential service vacuum in the constituency.

"I wish to assure the residents of Setiawangsa that services under the Department of Federal Territories will continue without disruption," she said in a media statement today.
