BANGKOK, Sept. 30 -- Thai Airways International has suspended the acceptance of inbound and outbound cargo at its Suvarnabhumi Airport warehouse for seven days from September 30 to October 6 after flooding disrupted staffing and caused a significant backlog of goods.

The temporary suspension was announced by the airline's cargo operations division on Tuesday, with Airports of Thailand reporting the notice, The Nation reported.

Thai Airways said flooding had disrupted employees' journeys to work, leaving some unable to report for duty and creating a manpower shortage that affected warehouse operations.
