PETALING JAYA, Aug. 10 -- PAS secretary general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan declared the party has received no approaches or offers to join the unity government, stressing it will simply "wait and see" what happens when DAP decides its position on August 16.

"For August 16, we will wait and see. We have not received any approaches or offers to join the government. As of now, I can confirm there are none," he told Harian Metro after attending the PAS annual convention committee meeting in Kota Bharu last night.

His comments come as DAP prepares to table a motion at its national convention, where nearly 4,000 delegates will determine whether the party remains in government until the end of the current parliamentary term.
