PARIT, June 11 -- A discipline teacher was reportedly injured after being punched by a group of students at a secondary school in Kuala Kangsar on Wednesday.

The incident, which occurred around 11.30am, is said to have been triggered when the teacher cut the hair of one of the students involved, Sinar Harian (SH) reported.

Perak executive councillor for education, higher learning, youth and sports Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hanipah said the state government is awaiting an official report from the Perak Education Department (JPN).
