Strong start for Shah Alam LRT3 as Rapid KL reports 60,000 trips on first full day of service
KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 -- The newly launched Shah Alam Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) has hit the ground running, recording more than 60,000 passenger trips on its first full day of service this Monday.
The figure, according to operator Rapid KL, covers the entire network ecosystem, including train services, feeder buses, and the Rapid KL On-Demand (ROD) service, providing commuters with a seamless, end-to-end journey.
Of the total ridership, 58,865 trips were made via train, while 3,319 were recorded across the first-and-last mile network, comprising 1,883 feeder bus trips and 1,436 ROD journeys.
