SINGAPORE, June 25 -- The entertainment line-up for this year's Singapore Grand Prix has shifted into top gear, with organisers unveiling music legend Janet Jackson as the latest headline act for the Formula One weekend.

The Grammy-winning superstar will take over the Wharf Stage on Sunday, October 11, joining an increasingly star-packed programme that blends international chart-toppers with Asian music favourites.

The latest announcement also confirms a strong line-up across the Padang and Waterside stages.

Singapore Mandopop icon JJ Lin will open the Padang Stage on October 9, alongside rising K-pop group Cortis.
