Singapore bus driver assaulted on duty, second Go-Ahead case since May 2026
SINGAPORE, Aug. 28 -- A public bus driver was assaulted while on duty earlier this month, marking the second such incident involving Go-Ahead Singapore staff in three months, local news outlet CNA reported.
Go-Ahead said the incident happened at about 5.20pm on Aug 16 while the driver was operating Service 2 between Changi Village Terminal and Kampong Bahru Terminal.
The driver sought treatment at Changi General Hospital and has since returned to work, with Go-Ahead saying it was continuing to provide him with "full support".
The operator said a police report had been lodged but did not disclose details of the assault.
