KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 23 -- Rapid KL says service on the Putrajaya Line has been restored after the train that experienced a brake system malfunction at the Jalan Ipoh Station was removed from service.

The operator issued the update through its official Facebook page this morning.

Rapid KL said the alternative train arrangements activated earlier in the day had been discontinued following the removal of the affected train.

"Train waiting times may be slightly longer while the service frequency is being regulated," the operator said.

Rapid KL also reported congestion at several Kelana Jaya Line stations, including Sri Rampai, Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa, Jelatek, Masjid Jamek and Pasar Seni.
