Kuala Lampur, Oct. 16 -- KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 - An attempted cable theft between the Phileo Damansara and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations disrupted MRT Kajang Line services early this morning.

Rapid KL said the incident was detected at 5.30am, following an intrusion into the track area.

It said power supply to the affected area was temporarily cut in line with established operating and safety procedures.

"This step was taken to allow the Auxiliary Police to carry out inspections and operations to track down the suspects safely, while ensuring the safety of passengers, staff and the track area as well as the smooth operation of train services," it said in a statement today.
