Police refer case of man accused of provoking crowd at National Day celebrations at Dataran Putrajaya to DPP
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 4 -- Police are awaiting further instructions from the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) after referring an investigation paper on a man accused of causing a disturbance and provoking the crowd during the National Day celebrations at Dataran Putrajaya on August 31.
Putrajaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Aidi Sham Mohamed said the investigation paper was referred to the DPP's office yesterday for further action, BuletinTV3 reported.
"The investigation paper is still with the DPP's office and we are awaiting further instructions from the authorities concerned.
