Kuala Lampur, Oct. 4 -- KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 - An investigation paper (IP) into a police report lodged by businessman Datuk Seri R. Jeyenderan over the alleged disclosure of an official document is now under review by the Selangor Deputy Public Prosecutor's Office.

Jeyenderan's lawyer, Muniandy Vestanathan, said his firm had received a letter dated Aug 28, 2026, signed by Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief SAC Zulkarnain Samsudin, on the status of the investigation.

"The letter stated that the IP was sent to the Selangor Deputy Public Prosecutor's Office on July 28, 2026, for advice and further instructions, and is currently under legal review by the office," he told Malay Mail.
