KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 31 -- Police are hunting for the driver of an unidentified vehicle believed to have struck a 45-year-old pedestrian, killing him in Shah Alam this morning.

Harian Metro reported that the crash happened at about 8.20am along Jalan Bukit Kemuning, in the direction from Taman Sri Muda towards Klang.

Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Sarudin Samah said the victim, a Bangladeshi national, was believed to have been crossing the road when he was hit.

"As a result of the collision, the victim suffered severe injuries to his head and legs and was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The victim's body was later taken to the Forensic Department at Shah Alam Hospital for a post-mortem examination," he said today....
