Police confirm two more killed in Kuala Krai Alphard-Bezza crash, raising death toll to three
KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 -- Two more victims of a crash involving a Toyota Alphard and a Perodua Bezza along Jalan Gua Musang-Kuala Krai this morning have died, including a one-year-old girl.
The infant, Nur Nuha Helena Abd Matin, and her mother, 22-year-old Jasmin Lyana Mohd Jamil, died while receiving treatment at Hospital Sultan Ismail Petra (HSIP), police said to Berita Harian.
Kuala Krai deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Mohd Maizan Mustaffa said the latest deaths bring the toll from the 7.15am crash to three.
Earlier, 52-year-old Safinaz Razmi, who was seated in the rear passenger seat of the Perodua Bezza, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Jasmin Lyana, who was Safinaz's daughter, died at 9.59am due to severe head injuries...
